[Experience] 1922 He became an adopted child of Myozen Eiraku. 1935 He assumed Master's name of the 16th Zengoro as a successor. 1937 He built a Shiroyama kiln in Mitsui Shiroyama cottage of Oiso and continued making pottery every month until 1945. 1943 He was recognized the licentiate who kept industrial arts skill. 1955-65 He announced works such as Rinpa style, Kochi style and Overglaze gold style with revival of the tea ceremony, and he got unshakable position as a famous ceramist. 1958 He creates 54 works called after 54 quires of the Genji story. 1960 He organized The Kyoto Traditional Ceramist Association with Kakunyu Raku, and he became the first Chairman and made an effort for development of traditional ceramic art. 1981 He won culture prize of The Urasenke Tradition of Tea. 1983 He won the 1st Kyoto cultureal meritorious service prize. 1985 He was commended as the regional persons of cultural merit by the Education Ministry of JAPAN. 1990 He was given a decoration. 1995 He held an exhibition of own works in Paris.
