[Experience] 1927 He assumed master's name of the 9th Chozaemon as a successor. 1936 He got many attention at an exhibition of Osaka, and he became famous craftsman of tea ware. 1940 He was given a seal of "Chozaemon" by Fumimaro Konoe of the prime minister. 1942 He is authorized an artist to preserve industrial arts. 1958- He continued being selected for the Japanese Tradition Industrial Arts Exhibition. 1971 He became an invitation artist of the Japanese Ceramic Art Exhibition. 1978 He was given a name of Todosai by the 15th Urasenke Grand Tea Master "Hounsai".
