Circa 1596-1615 It began in Zeze region (Ootsu-city, Shiga). 1634 It became a business kiln of Zeze feudal lord, and burnt a tea set by a lesson of famous Enshu Kobori as a master of the tea ceremony. 1651 It was abolished by transference of a Daimyo from one fief to another. 1919 Kenzo Iwasaki revived it. Currently, Shinjoh Iwasaki of the eldest son succeeds to it.
