A pattern of rainbow appears to gold as a characteristic of Kutani porcelain of the Meiji period.
An arabesque pattern is drawn on the body.
Spring and autumn flowers are drawn politely very minutely there.
Spring flowers are peony and plums.
Autumn flowers are chrysanthemum and Japanese pampas grasses.
Moreover, Chinese poetry is written on the inside with a thin writing brush.

Technique:	Overglaze red and gold, underglaze black
Size:	Diameter 1.85", Height 3.35"
Age:	The Meiji period (1868-1912)
Condition:	No flaw. The brim and the rim of a bottom rub slightly. This wobbles a little so that a bottom is warped, but does not fall down.
