It is the stacking medicine case that seems to have been used by high priest in the Konbaung dynasty, Burma.
The gold lacquer on the surface has been shining for over 150 years.
The inside was used a long time, so the brown lacquer on the surface is rubbed and the underlying black lacquer is appearing.
It's the deliberate technique.
This case will be likened to Kougou.
